16A- What's Your Secret Sauce?
1) Five ways in which I deem myself different in terms of human capital is that first of all I am Asian so that automatically makes me different and as much as it shouldn't matter, I am going to appeal to many more minorities in my market and many of them want to see a fellow minority succeed in an American market. The next unique quality is my persistence, many people would give up on their first fail of a product but I can't just give up after spending such a long time on something so I am determined to see my idea out. The third attribute I believe that is unique is my morals and ideals. I am a very family-oriented person being the oldest out of 5 children and spending so much time with my siblings taught me to really value the people close to you and the people that care for you and I translate that to my business which in today's day and age of money hungry CEO's and sharks, people will be more incline to affiliate with my company rather than one's who only focus on money. The fourth attribute I'd mention is my knowledge about boats, their mechanics, and general rules and regulations of the water due to living on the water and going boating so much when I was younger. The last human capital I have that is truly unique is my ability to adapt and change my business or product to fit the consumer's needs.
2) In the first summary, my best friend Jared mentioned my work ethic and focused on how I put 100% into everything I do and not anything less. The next three interviews are from my 3 roommates and I decided to consolidate these into one little summary because they mentioned the same thing about how I am a leader and take charge of things while also having a good work ethic. The next interview was from of my friends from back home, Alison. She focused on my leadership as well as a few other qualities that a good businessman should have. (My files won't load onto Soundcloud)
3) I see myself as a potential leader and a businessman with morals that can help a lot of people while doing well for myself. There are some differences by how I view myself and by how other views me but very small ones. I think what causes these differences is that I grew up being the minority and they grew up the majority so they never saw themselves as outcasted. I don't think I need to make any corrections to my list because everything is practically the same.
Hi Nathan,
ReplyDeleteI really liked how what you recognized about yourself was different about what others saw in you. I think that these attributes really aligned well despite their differences. I also thought that it was interesting that so many people saw you as a leader. I think it is really cool when you can learn something about yourself and have so many sources reinforcing that information.
Hey Nathan,
ReplyDeleteI find it interesting how you were able to recognize what your human capital is. I believe you are well prepared for anything that comes at you. I also find it very cool when we are able to learn about ourselves and create new ideas for others in finding themselves.
